Who we are
c-e-l-e-b.com (the "Site") is operated by Altus Entertainment, a celebrity talent booking agency based in Las Vegas, Nevada ("Altus", "we", "us"). Questions about this policy: [email protected].
What we collect through the booking form
If you send a booking inquiry, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, organization, the act you are asking about, event date, city or venue, event type, budget range and any message. When the form is submitted, our server also records the IP address it came from and the time, so we can prevent spam and limit abuse (for example, a cap on the number of inquiries per hour from one address). A hidden field on the form is used to filter out automated spam.
How it is stored and sent
Each inquiry is saved in a database hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare D1) and then emailed to Altus at [email protected] through our email provider, Purelymail. Saving the inquiry first means it is not lost if the email fails.
How we use it
Only to respond to your booking inquiry: to contact you, check the artist's availability and fees with their representatives, and follow up about your event. We do not use it for advertising and we do not add you to a mailing list. The newsletter box on the home page is not connected and collects nothing.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. When we check availability for you, we share event details (such as date, location, event type and budget) with the artist's agents or management as needed to answer your inquiry.
Hosting and server logs
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time, in order to deliver the Site and protect it from attacks. This is handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
The Site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. It uses only its own script for search, filters and the booking form.
Videos, photos and other third parties
Profile pages with a video show a preview image loaded from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com). The YouTube player is not loaded until you click play. It then loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and from that point YouTube's privacy policy applies. Most portrait photos are loaded from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org), so your browser contacts Wikimedia to display them. Those services receive your IP address and normal browser information when they deliver that content.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to handle your request and any booking that follows, and for our ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we have about you and how we use it, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. You also have the right not to be treated differently for using these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address you used, or tell us enough to identify your inquiry. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may use an authorized agent. Anyone, wherever they live, can ask us to delete their inquiry the same way.
Children
The Site is meant for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent to the Site over HTTPS and stored with our providers, Cloudflare and Purelymail. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people at Altus who handle bookings.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date below.
