Book Billy Connolly
Sir Billy Connolly is a Scottish comedian, actor, musician, presenter and artist from Glasgow whose career began in 1965. Affectionately called the Big Yin, he became famous for loose, often improvised observational stand-up and has topped numerous UK polls naming the greatest stand-up of all time. He was knighted in 2017 for his work in entertainment and for charity, and in 2022 received the BAFTA Fellowship for lifetime achievement. Although he has retired from live stand-up, his storytelling and warmth remain much loved. Connolly suits special tributes, documentary or arts projects and select conversation appearances, subject to what he is currently taking on.
